Power Link
A Power Link PMC (or PMC-PL) - the optical fibre within the PMC is in this case encased within a thin flexible hose for laser beam delivery. There are a range of ultra-short pulse, high power (typically fibre) lasers which have recently come to the market. The laser light travels through free space to the target. There is the need to be able to deliver the light from these lasers in a flexible manner and a PMC based upon the Kagome Fibre offers an elegant and flexible solution to this problem without pulse distortion.
